Comments: I was actually impressed with this movie. It did leave out a million important things but that’s to be expected. However, I feel as though the actors and actresses have finally got their acting down to their characters. Their acting in my opinion has improved a ton. I would have liked Snape, Malfoy, Ginny and a few other characters to have more parts than they did but as is I thought it was pretty ok. Compared to the previous four this one and the third one are the best. But as usual the books are tons better.

Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Cast: Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Jack Davenport, Bill Nighy

Year of release: May 25 2007

Genre: Action/Adventure, Adaptation and Sequel

Running Time: 2hours and 45minutes

Rating: PG-13

Crtics’ Rating(yahoo.com): B-

My Rating: A

Comments:. I got exactly what I expected. The quality was really good even though it stretched out a little bit in some of their scenes. But in general a true Disney movie! Loved it and it’s one of those trilogy enders that keeps up it’s quality in my opinion as each movie progresses the story line doesn’t get lost though as is typical the action does become more intense and more frequent.  I really liked it though and think if you liked the first two then you’ll definitely like this one. I’m not sure if this is the last movie in the series or not but I think it is.  If not then I’m all for the next movie. I can’t help but keep praising this. So I’ll stop now.

Comments: The last movie I called to be a great one was the Lord of the Rings. And that was years ago. I finally have found a movie that deserves to be called ‘great’ because 300 is just that.  It is really really good. But if you want to watch it, first see it on the big screen. It’s worth the money.  When I left the theater I was ready to go back and buy another ticket to watch it again. It was that good.

Comments: Three words: Oh My God! This is just an amazing amazing movie.  The best I’ve seen in a while. The ending was just completely and utterly unexpected yet the kind where you’d hit your forehead and go ‘Why’d I not think of that? It’s so obvious’. Yet not obvious enough for us to figure it out in the beginning. The cast, the acting, everything it’s just beautiful from beginning til the ending. Simply the most amazing storyline and the unfolding of the story was beautifully done. WOW This deserves a standing ovation.

Comments: When I saw the trailer for this movie I instantly wanted to watch it. To me it seemed like it would be like the movie Save The Last Dance. I loved that movie so I expected to like this one as well. And I was right. It was nice. I really enjoyed it and think its worth watching if you like stuff that has to do with dance.

Movie: Underworld: Evolution

Prequel: Underworld

Year of release: January 2006

Genre: Suspense/Horror

Running Time: 1hour and 45minutes

My Rating: B+

Comments: I had been planning on watching this movie since it came out and had wanted to watch it in the theater but for some reason or other I did not get the chance.  So I had to wait until it came out in decent DVD form.  I must say I am really impressed.  Alot of people who had seen it told me that it wasn’t good and so I watched it today with a heavy heart expecting them to just blow everything in the sequal.  I say its worth watching and it’s definetly a good and interesting addition to the original storyline.  There are some really explicit scenes but other than that it was really good. A must watch for all Underworld fans out there.

Movie: Face Off

Cast: John Travolta, Nicholas Cage, Joan Allen, Alessandro Nivola, Gina Gershon

Year of release: June 27 1997

Genre: Action/Adventure and Thriller

Running Time: 2hours and 18minutes

Rating: R

Crtics’ Rating(yahoo.com): N/A

My Rating: C+

Comments: This was a pretty good movie.  Loved the whole idea behind it.  But it could be the ‘normal’ adventure action movie for many people.  I wish they had put more emphasis on the mind game/mental effects the characters were going through durring the unfolding of the events but they focused more on the action.  Some points seemed lame but as a whole I enjoyed it a lot.
